Rockford Travelogue...: Kodiakanl Trip

Well.. it wasn't supposed to be the Kodia Trip rather it should have been Kodia-Munnar Escape route trek. But, due to factors beyond our control.. the trek cannot be progressed. The DFO was unavailable due to Good Friday National Holiday and hence, we didn't receive neccsaary permission to trek. :(

To make this as an oportunity "Mr. Mani" the local guide contacted us & told us that he is willing to take us for few treks across Kodia.. but will be charging Rs2000/- per person!!! We were like ... HOLD ON!!! Anywayz, after long discussion we decided to go ahead with Mani but @Rs800/- per person. He promised to take us for trek on Sat & Sun and asked us to spend the Friday in the village. Though initially we agreed but after reaching the village we were reluctant to go ahead with our proposed plan and hence abandanded the plan & cam back to Bangalore. We did spend some valuable time thr.. and the following are the shots from that place.

Summary:
> Bangalore to Kodiakanl Direction: Bangalore – Krishnagiri – Dharmapuri – Salem – Namakkal – Karur – Dindigul – Batlagundu – Kodaikanal.
